January Intermediate Vintage Blues Series at Waids
January 5, 12, 19 and 26, 7-8PM, Waids Restaurant, 12th and Jefferson in conjunction with Burn Blue
Hi Everyone,
I'd like to announce that Gaby and I will be doing an intermediate series on vintage drag blues at Waids during the month of January. If you are an intermediate level dancer, ready to push yourself to the next level of movement, frame, weight supported dancing and partner technique, we'll show you how!
**Gender Balance** This has been an issue of late... We are going to let all couples in, and we aren't going to allow more than two extra leads into class, we're taking single men on a first-come, first serve basis... so a, we encourage you to register as a couple, or register early if you are a single male.
Series is only $55 - but you get $5 off if you register with a partner, and $5 off if you register in advance. In this small class, we'll have the chance to work with each of you one on one, and show you exactly what we have learned from not just years of social dance, but over a decade with the SF Ballet (Gaby) and over a decade as a champion Lindy Hopper (Dan) and drawing for our year of experience in Tango, Tap, Ballroom, and historic dance research. What you will learn is 100% authentic blues dance, exploring ideas, movements, and concepts you did not even know were there.
